Our School Parish is St Leonard and St Mary RC Church
St Leonard and St Mary serve the communities of Ryedale and the Vale of York. Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and to serve the needs of others through prayer and works of mercy and charity.
Our church was founded in 1190 and is probably the oldest Roman Catholic Church still in use in England. It has stood for over 800 years as a testament to the glory of God and the skills of its builders and craftsmen and as a witness to the faithfulness of many generations of Christians.
The Parish of St Leonard and St Mary covers about 200 square miles of the Vale of York, the Vale of Pickering and the East Yorkshire Wolds. It is based in the adjacent towns of Malton and Norton-on-Derwent and includes over 40 villages and hamlets.
As a parish community we are committed to ecumenical partnership with the churches of Ryedale.

National Youth Sunday
